I love popcorn and since I can’t have it at the movies anymore, because they insist on making it with butter everywhere. I make it at home much more often.
At first I was a little bit scared to try the stove top method but I have seriously not once burned my popcorn, its turns out prefect every single time!
- 1/2 c popcorn kernels
- 1/4 c and little bit coconut oil
- 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp dry rosemary
Heat some coconut oil in a medium pot on medium/low heat. Add in 3 popcorn kernels and wait until all three of them have popped (this will take some time). Once the 3rd kernel has popped, take the pot off the stove and wait for 30 sec. Put the pot back on the stove add the rest of your kernels. They will start to pop pretty quickly. Once the pops are about 30 sec apart. Take the popcorn off the heat. Melt 1/4 cup of coconut oil. Coat the popcorn with the melted oil. Quickly add nutritional yeast, rosemary and salt and mix well, so they stick to the popcorn and don’t sink to the bottom of the bowl. ENJOY!
