What I Ate in Berlin | Vegan

July 29, 2016

Last weekend I visited Berlin for a few days. Since I’m probably the only person who goes to Berlin for the weekend without stepping into a single club, all we did was eat and walk around and eat some more. So I have loads of amazing places to share with you, Berlin is truly a vegan paradise. Especially the area around Kreuzberg and Neukölln is buzzing with vegan and vegan friendly restaurants and every single one of them is amazing.…

Pumpkin & Kale Udon Noodles

July 27, 2016

Pasta dishes are one of my favorite things and I love coming up with new ones. This one was a litte bit of an experiment and I wasn’t sure weather it would turn out so great. Obviously kale and pumpkin are a great combination, but I wasn’t so sure about adding them with the udon noddles. It turned out amazingly though, the sesame oil and the tanginess of the lemon juice tied all the flavors together so well. Udon and Soba noodles…

Vegan Chocolate 4 Ways

July 25, 2016

Chocolate and I, we have such a love hate relationship. I’ve tried giving it up several times and never manage to stick to it. I don’t care about the calories or the fat, thats not why. But most store-bought vegan chocolate bars, as delicious as they are have a lot of overly processed and nutrient poor ingredients. It just…

My mum would make this red currant pie which was literally the only fruity dessert I would eat for years. Since going vegan, and even before my feelings towards fruit have drastically changed, obviously. Now I could probably just eat…

July 4, 2016

This is one of these recipes that I know I’m going to find myself making over and over again. Because it’s so easy to make and one of these dishes that is perfect for any dinner party. You can either make it as a main dish and serve it with hummus or  yoghurt sauce or as a side dish . Precooking it in salt water really adds to the flavor and makes the inside beautifully soft and tender and the marinade…
